the runs are amazing, and long, and the views on a clear day...beautiful! The Whistler Blackcomb ski experience is still one of my favorites. The lifts are efficient, safe, and well maintained. The trails are very well marked...and it is just BIG so it never really feels crowded here. Plus, I came here in May one year for ultra late spring skiing and the experience up top is not any different from the regular season...except for we really had the mountain to ourselves most of the time..and so it feels like.

Open from November to May for Big Mountain skiing and snowboard and July for riding on the glacier. Switch gears from May to October in one of North America's premier downhill mountain biking parks. Sightseeing, hiking, dining and the Peak to Peak Gondola offer something for everyone and are open from November to October.

The best ski hill in North America - if not the world. And in the summer the mountain biking might be even better!

Whistler Blackcomb boasts the longest ski and riding season in North America and hosts World Famous mountain bike events in summer specializing in downhill mountain biking. For the less adventuresome there is the Peak to Peak Gondola which allows you easy access to the alpine for easy mountain top walks and barbeques. Access the alpine and enjoy short walks or pack for overnight back country camping and enjoy the "Musical Bumps" trail into Piccolo, Oboe, and Flute Mountains and enjoy your hike through Singing Pass. And, for winter skiing and riding Peak to Peak allows quick access to either mountain should you need to meet up with friends for lunch or coffee. Guests have been raving about the Peak to Peak since it's start a few years ago.

Definitely one of my favorite ski resorts in North America! Tops my list of 21 ski resorts I have visited.

The new peak-to-peak gondola is mind-blowing and definitely one of a kind. The staff on the mountain are super nice and helpful on top of good-looking. The facilities are well maintained and definitely worldclass. One lift ticket gives you access to both mountains, which is well worth the $96 you pay. There are plenty of runs to choose from for all different levels and the view from every spot on the mountain is gorgeous.

    Heart this place!

Snowboarder or skiier, this is the mountain to go. Many people around the world come here just to ski. Who knows you might meet some very interesting people from the other side of the world.

Beautiful mountains...slopes are lovely because the range is so big that its hard to run into a group of people. Skiing or boarding at Blackcomb is like having your own private mountain! Highly recommended ...

I have so much love for Whistler. Maybe it's because every time I visit, I spend 5-6 consecutive days riding on the mountain at a time, making these trips long and memorable. Or maybe it's the fact that the runs are long with fun hops and turns and plenty of tree runs great for snowboarders like myself. The only thing I hate about this place is the T-bars, which are a necessary evil to get me to the high point of the mountain and some of the best powder runs. Between the two, I definitely like the Blackcomb mountainside better. Although I like the Peak 2 Peak Gondola for its views and ability to connect me with the Whistler side, I think it's a pretty long ride, which is not very desirable depending what time of day it is and what you want to accomplish.

Overall, if you like to ski or snowboard, Whistler should be on your bucket list. It's worth the travel there.

Some of the best skiing anywhere - at least in the northern hemisphere, great ski instructors and a lovely atmosphere around the place. There's beginner and intermediate skiing at several levels of the mountain, so if you're a beginner and some of your group are advanced, you can go up the mountain together in the morning and meet later without them having to come all of the way down.

The absolute best 2 mountains for skiing or mountain biking anywhere in the world. No where do you get so much diverse terrain. They have every type of run for any type and level of ski or snowboarder. I come up here every year multiple times.

Simply one of the best places I have ever skied or boarded. The mountain is huge and has a wide variety of terrain and there is so much to do in a the large village.

Whistler Blackcomb is ranked the No. 1 ski resort in North America with over 8k acres of terrain. As a true four season resort, Whistler Blackcomb offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter and downhill mountain biking and alpine hiking in the summer. I like both!! At Whistler Blackcomb, there is something for everyone all year long!
