One of the best-preserved small towns on Route 66, which stretches from Chicago to Los Angeles, Williams is a railway whistle stop in central Arizona. Detour here on your way to or from the Grand Canyon (historic trains run right to Grand Canyon Village from downtown Williams) and enjoy the diners, retro bars and steakhouses, curio and antiques shops that fill the quaint downtown district.

Stayed at the Canyon Gateway RV Resort and LOVED IT! The staff was awesome. The Park Fantastic! In town there is historic Route 66 with lot of lovely shops and a gunfight reenactment every night. Can't wait to go back again!
