Wonderful transformation from an urban Brooklyn neighborhood filled with residences and their every day needs within walking distance to all thee above and a gathering spot of innovative minds, art lovers, and seekers of the local culture that reflects the "real" Brooklyn, not the one televised.Recommended for:

Williamsburg used to be a bad neighborhood...now it's New York City's hottest...even though its located in Kings County...also known as Brooklyn. It's loaded with restaurants, bars, cool stores, the best food "flea market" in the world Smorgasburg...and now high end hotels are opening up. It use to be known for its "Trustafarian Hipsters" though they have the Trucker Hot & Handlebar stash still exist...it's more what I call Soho East today...oh and lots of cool Street Art...Recommended for:

That Williamsburg is such a hip place shouldn't surprise me as it's the birthplace of the hipster. Friendly people, hip cafes, pretty clothes and a nice park make this area something straight out of a fancy-clothing-brand postcard.Recommended for:

The original hipster land, Williamsburg personifies the expensive yet still somehow grimy feeling that prevails in some gentrified neighborhoods. However, you're sure to find delicious food and fun, creative bars.Recommended for:

While I love Williamsburg as a whole, the Waterfront is probably my favorite spot. Perfect for laying out, reading and just enjoying the views of Manhattan during the summer, not to mention the great musical acts that come through. It's pretty fantastic.

This is hipster central. A great little neighborhood that is only 3 stops from Union Square. A bit of San Francisco in New York. Williamsburg is a bit more run down than most parts of Manhattan and the architecture isn't particularly charming but this is a great place to shop, eat, and people watch.
Relatively small area. Walk down Bedford. Check out 6th St. and Grand St. The water front at the end of 6th has a nice view of Manhattan (though not quite as good as views farther South).

Funky, quirky and alternative, Williamsburg is the new Village and how the Village used to be 20 years ago. Known for its "hipsters", Williamsburg is much, much more than that. Great restaurants and coffee shops, avant garde stores and great thrift.

Great little neighborhood in Brooklyn. Take a stroll down Bedford street and check out the stores and restaurants. Two places that are well worth checking out are Whisk, a cooking store, and the Bedford Cheese Store (which is exactly what it sounds like).

Love it here. I would live in Williamsburg if it didn't mean that I'd be that much further away for my commute to work. This place just feels like it has so much going on, but more relaxed and low-key compared to the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. Definitely venture this way whether for food, shopping or entertainment.
