I'm not sure how the bookshop and cafe are related, but they're both great. The shop is one of a very few (two? three?) independent bookstores in Dublin. The food at the restaurant is of the simple-but-amazing variety, the kind that makes you think (mistakenly) that you could do it at home.Recommended for:Foodies

One of the best meals we had on our trip. The Winding Stair is centrally located right near the Ha'penny Bridge. A small but cozy dining room will offer some expertly cooked local dishes. I was on a hunt to find John Dory (fish) and the meal came with some expertly sautéed crab claws, purple potatoes, and green beans. I highly recommend searching this out and stopping in for lunch or dinner.
