We stayed here in 2011 and are planning to return for a few nights when we return to Maui this fall. It's a gorgeous, secluded house in the jungle on the north side of the island. A bit of a drive from many of the tourist attractions, but close to the Upcountry areas, the great foodie town of Paia, and a good headstart down the road to Hana. We stayed there for a whole week and felt it was a fine base. The owners Susan and Chris have lived on the property for over 30 years, and just recently built this house. The Master suite is gorgeous, comfortable and reasonably priced. The breakfast each morning is delicious, with many of the ingredients coming from the garden on site. Definitely check this area out, it's a much more peaceful alternative to the crowded beaches on the west side of the island.Recommended for:
