Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art

If you like Tiffany glass, you will love it. If you don't, you'll be bored out of your mind. I was the latter but I also recognize that it's a high quality collection even if it puts me to sleep.

I decided to visit the Rollins College because my great-grandfather studied here in 1931. Back there it was a beautiful place by the lake and still nowadays. The campus has a classic style and is very enjoyable. I believe it's a great place to study/live.

    Park Avenue

    4.5

One of the only parts of Orlando that feels almost urban and walkable. This pleasant treelined street is one of the most pleasant parts of the city. Not particularly impressive on a global scale but a nice spot that feels a bit more cultured than the rest of the area.

Lovely recently-developed area of Winter Park. A lot of atmosphere and just steps away from Park Avenue.

Maybe I was just a classy kid, but even from a young age I loved visiting the Albin Polasek collection. This historic site is situated in the loveliest corner of Winter Park, overlooking Lake Osceola. If you think sculpture garden sounds a little dreary, come for a sunlit stroll and let Mr. Polasek change your mind. This world-renowned artist settled ...

    Makr Carry Goods

Makr Carry Goods designs and locally produces hand stitched innovative small leather goods, made of the highest quality leathers. I've purchased a few of their items and each time I have been very impressed with the craftsmanship and usefulness of the piece. However, high quality isn't cheap and I try to hold off until Makr runs one of their occasional ...

    Winter Park Sidewalk Arts

    1 review

This annual arts festival is worth a visit if you happen to be in town. It can be a bit full of itself. The artists are great but some of the locals seem to think that they are at Frieze or Art Basel but have shown up in their finest Docker's.

    New Phoenix

    1 review

The New Phoenix is Winter Park’s only Gay bar, and it is definitely more bar than it is club. New? Not at all. Cozy? Yes. This is one of the more chill places where you will see the same faces all the time and can relax with a small group of friends. I will say, though, that it is definitely ...

One of the better independent men's stores I've been to in Orlando. A refreshing break from oversized Dockers and Polo shirts. On my last visit, was beginning to look a bit too much like the stodgy place next door (same owner).
