The Crux is an Electro/Hip Hop-club in the heart of Munich. Unfortunately there's always a huge queue at the entrance. So, just look out for the queue, otherwise you wouldn't even find that club, because it's hidden in a building without any signs telling you that there is this club. Therefor you can search for "Spezlwirtschaft", it's located in the ...

The annual Christmas Market centred mainly on the Marienplatz. I found it exceedingly crowded but the crowds disappear if you visit some of the stalls in the side streets.

A science museum that is one of the best in the world. You'll be amazed at some of the demonstrations that go back to the medieval times and even cave man times. You could take a big old nap in the cave man exhibit if you wanted and no one would be the wiser. There's a bench in the darkness.

Westpark is a large public park in Munich. There are playgrounds, sports fields, barbecue areas, beer gardens, a restaurant and a café. And I really like the Asien inspired buildings! In summer there's also an open-air cinema that's worth the visit!

Always worth a visit. The tours are great, special guided tours for families and children. Sometimes there are events in the evening, check the local city-magazines for exhibitions and happenings.

Hirschgarten is a nice park, where there also is a huge beergarden. It's called Hirschgarten ( = "deer garden"), because there is a enclosure with deers. They aren't shy and you even can feed them.

The Geschwister-Scholl-Platz is a square directly in front of the main building of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University. The square is named after Sophie Scholl and her brother, who were members of the "White Rose", a German resistance movement against the totalitarian Nazi regime. At the Ludwig-Maximilans-University they distributed leaflets against the dictatorship of Hitler. That's why there are stones embedded at Geschwister-Scholl-Platz, ...
