Aviation history is displayed in the museum area with presentations by the National Park Service. A replica of the Wright Flyer is on display and a visit to the buliding where the brothers lived and worked is a short walk after the presentation. Markers show the length of each flight made at this location.

The Wright Brothers National Memorial is run by the National Park Service and is dedicated to Wilbur and Orville Wright who made the first successful powered air flight. They accomplished this on December 17th, 1903.

The memorial is a great place for history and aviation buffs. The program can be a little long but with lots of interesting information. Unfortunately, kids will get bored and antsy. The climb to the memorial can be a little arduous depending on the route you take up the hill.Recommended for:
