It's a beer hall, and you can get sausages at the back. I'm serious. If you enter from 3rd Street, you won't see the counter to order food. It's just drinks from the bar, lots of communal bench seating and lots of hipsters. No one greeted us, no one acknowledged us for a while. Some kind stranger decided to help ...

The new hotspot in little Tokyo - cool arcade game bar with good cocktails. Not a cheap place for big groups or events as the staff was not very helpful nor giving with big parties. However, it's a cool spot and worth a visit. Loved the cheap video games and ambience. Would come back and host an event with different ...

What a chill and fun place to grab a drink with friends! They have amazing old fashions and tv screens to watch games! The dim sum is also quite good here. They are super accommodating when throwing events and great to work with. The space is an old bank and have the vault from the bank still intact! How cool!

Fun fun fun If you have 10 people it's $56 dollars an hour and the room is spacious. That's not too bad since I've spent on average $5/hr/person for karaoke elsewhere. Our room had two long couches on two sides, a high counter along the other side with some stools, and three tables so you can comfortably look at all ...

The arts district is a small section downtown that is quickly growing as a residential area. It's easy to miss, but great to explore. There are murals, graffiti and other kinds of public art around every corner. There are interesting shops to browse and places to eat.

L.A.s Art District is the Los Angeles version of San Francisco's Dogpatch. Its industrial portion is being quickly supplanted by townhouses, condominiums and lofts. For an art district it is rather short of galleries but does have enticing restaurants and the beginnings of some interesting retail stores.

One of my foodie paradise destination. Great place to lounge around and enjoy the street performers going crazy on the shamisen (it's like a Japanese banjo... But not... Hope that makes sense). Parking is a hit on miss. You get your parking validated if you park in the little Tokyo mall and buy something at nijiya, Japanese supermarket. Or look ...

Completed in 1928, City Hall's architect used a classical temple as inspiration for a base that supports a 28-story tower that has become a symbol of the city. The interior public spaces are Byzantine in ornamentation. A cynic might suggest that Los Angeles's administrative structure and often, its politics, are equally Byzantine.

Bar hop around the Historic Core neighborhood, grab a bowl of ramen in Little Tokyo, taste test classic French dips at rivals Philippe's and Cole's, eat dim sum or late night Chinese food in Chinatown, see a Los Angeles Philharmonic concert, or catch a Lakers or Clippers game at the Staples Center. Most of all, I love city lights and ...

THE LOWDOWN==- Possibly the most popular hidden spot in Little Tokyo. Friday bar hopping night, but ended up getting food after being hypnotized by other people's orders. The average sized bar area was not able to handle all the patrons. It was crowded beyond belief in that small room, about 3 deep. Funny though is that I don't remember it ...
