Traditional and authentic Ya Hala is on point with flavor and quality. I ordered a veggie sampler with hummus, baba ganoush, tahini, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, diced veggies and all the pita bread you want for less than $11. There was more than enough to share. Everything was delicious and the service, lovely.

I've been so impressed by the quality of food and cafes in Portland, Oregon. The Bipartisan Cafe is a typical Portland Cafe with it's own political twist. Went in for a coffee and a quick snack. Try the quiche! Delicious!Popular withTrendstersBudgetFoodies

Interesting divey bar with a grunge basement feel with the only light source from streaming Japanese horror films and game shows. -1 because the chef's omakase was mad salty.

The best Thai food I have ever had! DELICIOUS! Incredible and subtle flavors. On top of that the service was fantastic! The young lady was so helpful and sweet. The place is a little purple house on 82nd Ave and if you didn't know it was there you could easily pass it by. So good! Go out of your way ...Popular withSpiritualTrendstersFoodies

Every time I'm in Portland I make sure I go to Burgerville, although most often the one by the convention enter. It's fresh beef with local Tillamook cheese. The milkshakes are the real thing and thick, and, if marionberries are in season, you can try the local treat.

Pho Van in Beaverton is one of the better Vietnamese restaurants located in the Portland metro area. Pho Van makes a great Mi Quang dish. The decor is sleek, the service is prompt, and the prices are reasonable. Plus, their menu offers a wide variety of Vietnamese courses that go beyond the pho-speciality path.Popular withFoodies

Wow! What an experience! Such unique food! Apparently there is often a two hour wait for this place at dinner time (they do not accept reservations except for big parties). I went for a lunch on a weekday and we still had to wait about a half an hour! But it was worth the wait... the food was so unique ...Popular withFoodiesLocalTrendsters

Crazy huge biscuits piled with cheese, fried chicken, veggies or sausage are a calorie-bomb way to start off your morning, maybe before heading out of town to do some hiking along the scenic Columbia River Gorge. Not cheap, but definitely filling.Popular withFoodiesLocalBudget

Voodoo Doughnut, Too is located away from central downtown Portland, but its allure of random flavored doughnuts, 24 hour availability, gritty decor, and blasting rock music remains upon entering the doughnut shop. Also, check out the random visual displays of Kenny Rogers and the instant photo machine!Popular withFoodiesBudgetLocal
