Chic and cool. Amazing dumplings in a buzzing environment. Be sure to sit downstairs - much better vibe and surroundings. Reasonably priced for the food quality, ambiance and overall experience. Nice place for a date or family dinnerRecommended for:Family Travelers

Is this a restaurant masquerading as a cocktail bar or a cocktail bar with pretensions of being a restaurant? Either way the place is usually rammed and, on balance, deserves recognition for some creative Cantonese cooking.

Just too good. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is an epitome of culinary perfection. The prawns and the squibs are especially good. Don't miss out on the chocolate desserts. A three course meal for two will cost you around 50-60 pounds

what is most enticing about this lovely restaurant is the beautiful display of delicious looking pastries encased on top of a white marble slab. We had thought this just to be another pastry shop (with an asian twist). Ha! there are more than meets the eye!
It turns out Yauatcha is a great dim sum spot with dining areas both on street level (more space age like with clean lines) and in the basement level (more intimate and warm) We were so impressed with the after snacks (asian tapas and pastries) and cocktails that we went back for dim sum and tea! Very pleased with the quality of food and the overall ambiance and service of this innovative establishment.
An additional note: run by the same family who owns Hakkasan, this is definitely a much more affordable intro to their wonderful offering...although a visit to Hakkasan should be on everyone's culinary journey list.
