I found this fascinating with all of the geysers bubbling, as well as all of the animals that were roaming around. The drive we took was tricky and we were the last people allowed on the particular road where we were travelling . The road was closed after we passed.

beautiful gyers gushing water like old faithful gyers. do not litter it ruins the gyers and the rangers get mad when you leave trash for them to pick up. The animals are beautiful like buffalo, elks, deer, and other animal that roam the land night or day.

The first time I visited Yellowstone it was one of the most powerful experiences of my life. I was alone, driving through the park at 6am blasting the "Saturdays = Youth" record from M83. As dawn broke, there was hardly anyone else on the road, and wispy mists were rising off mountain foothills from thermal hot spots. At one point I spotted a young coyote off the side of the road so I pulled over. The coyote played in the grass a mere 30 feet from me while I watched for about 20 minutes. Experiencing the landscape that morning the first time was one of the most awe inspiring moments I've ever had.
A couple years later I went back with my wife and her family, and we explored the park more in depth. As we walked various trails we and discovered Yellowstone's gems one after another, I was equally, if not more, astonished than the first time.
One thing that can ruin your trip, however, is the crowds and the traffic. Be willing to get up early and drive and hike and explore. Or visit at a less busy time of year.

An amazing park. Beautiful and wild, but with the excitement and allure of a theme park. Yellowstone can get touristy, but is definitely worth the hype. 4 stars because it was crowded and rainy, but everyone should visit this wild and beautiful place; along with its quieter cousin, the Grand Teton National Park.
