    Lower Yosemite Falls

    Yosemite National Park, California
    4.5
    33 reviews

It's just a short walk along a mostly paved path from the shuttle bus stop. Then suddenly you're standing on the bridge at the base of this thunderous, multiple-decked waterfall that spills over the granite cliffs into Yosemite Valley. Even in winter, you're bound to see this waterfall springing into action, possibly with a cone of ice frozen in the ...

John Muir Vernal Falls Mist Trail Hike

Begin at Happy Isles (shuttle stop #16)

    24 reviews

This is not a walk in the park but definitely worth it. It's less than a mile to get up to the bridge where you can see the falls but the way up there is pretty steep. Not only the view at the top is beautiful but also the way up is amazing, the only downside of this trail is ...

    Yosemite Falls

    Yosemite National Park, California

It's worth hiking the Upper Yosemite Falls trail, even if you don't go all the way to the top. The Upper Falls become visible about one-half mile past Columbia Rock (which offers a spectacular elevated view of the Valley and Half Dome). Even if you turn around at that point, you will have seen a view that is even more ...

    Top of Half Dome Hike

Happy Isles Shuttle Stop #16, Tyrone, GA 95389

    17 reviews

While this hike is probably on everyone's "bucket List" there are better hikes for those not in top shape. For Half Dome you need a permit, you will climb 5,000 feet in 8 miles (and descend) and it will take you all day and possibly part of the night.

    Tenaya Lake

Beautiful spot for a picnic! And every once in a while, before the winter snows close the highway, you can get out there to enjoy a stunning snowscape. A couple years ago, the lake froze over, offering visitors the unique opportunity to cruise out across the ice to take in the views.

    Sentinel Dome

The trail starts off the Glacier Point Road and is about 2 miles. We prefer the trail to Taft Point (1 mile) which also starts there. Sentinel Dome gives you great views but there is a shortcut that makes the trip far easier. (ask Danna, our manager) Taft Point also has great views and amazing fissures and scenery. There is ...

Stunning views of Yosemite Valley, Half Dome and pretty much everything else. There's so much to see here. But parking can be a bit tricky. The road leading to Glacier Point is subject to closure based on winter weather so make sure you check on that before heading out.
