What if two foodies from Northern California opened a casual Mexican joint on the gourmet island of the Caribbean, Anguilla? Picante is one of Anguilla's most popular restaurants, which isn't ... read more

Alex recommended Palm Grove (Nat's Place)
After I had lunch here once, the shack-cum-restaurant ended up in my dreams about 10 times over the next few years. I think it's because it was the closest thing I'd ever been to relaxation ... read more
perfection. Lobster meals (that somehow take about two hours to make even if there are three customers; look at it as an excuse to take off your shoes and wade in the water), the warm white sandy beach you've been dreaming about since you booked your trip to Anguilla, and soft reggae music against a colorful beachfront shack backdrop. the coconut-crusted fish with Anguilla's famous banana rum sauce, but plantain salsa, coconut curry and lobster in fresh lemon and butter sauce weren't too bad, either.
