Zadin offers traditional PHO soup as well as other delicious high quality vietnamese dishes. The majority of their dishes are Gluten Free. If you are looking for good, quality PHO, this is the place to go.Recommended for:

I've lived in the Castro for about 4 years now. I walk up and down 18th street several times per week. I've actually even remarked on my desire to try "that Vietnamese place" on several occasions. Well, after 4 years of waiting, the day finally arrived last week when I was able to recall this totally unassuming location when a friend asked "well, where do you want to go for dinner".
The rest is history. I'll never need another Vietnamese restaurant. Really, I'll never need another restaurant. The shaken beef: a hit. The garlic noodles: I could eat 10 bowls. The pho (I tried both the standard beef and the beef sate): I had a religious experience. The pho here is simply orgasmic. The flavor, the quality of the meat... I want another bowl right.this.second.
To top it all off, the service is great, it's never very crowded, and the atmosphere and decor are really nice. At $10/bowl... you really can't go wrong. It wouldn't be a mistake at $25.

Neighborhood Vietnamese with a slightly upscale feel. Great lighting and cozy seating. Pho and calamari are really good. Decently priced bottles of white. Good for groups. Also good if you are in the Castro and need a last minute dinner option.
