Easily one of the best places for dinner, a local favorite and within walking distance. Take a look at their menu here Always lines out front so bring a book or now you can get reservations here http://bit.ly/1f1OQAx

There are 3 breakfast places every SF visitor must try: Mama's, Dotties and of course Zazie. I always try to make it here every visit-- my favorite part the patio (I'm a sucker for outdoor seating). But the food is delicious. I typically get one of their egg dishes, which always comes with whole roasted garlic cloves. Their pancakes are pretty killer, too.Recommended for:Foodies

By way of their out-of-this-world benedicts and mouthwatering ginger pancakes, Zazie has catapulted itself to the front of my favorite places to eat breakfast. The outside patio helps and so does going during the week as to avoid a ridiculous, albeit warranted, wait.

Outstanding brunch. What a find can't wait to try dinner here. Had the crabs Benedict with coffee cake. So called rustic French cuisine. Service is great bit lucky we were the first to arrive this place gets packed quickly. A very exhaustive drink menus too.

Zazie's is SO good. I LOVE to come here for brunch. If you have the time and the patience to wait for a table (it can take up to an hour), it is so worth it! I love to get their daily special, last time it was spinach, eggs, potatoes all coked together in a dish and topped with some special sauce - so delicious! Their coffee cake is so amazing, great with their coffee. Have never been disappointed with a trip to Zazie's, only wish I could go more often!

Adorable little french-inspired restaurant. I came here for dinner once and really enjoyed my meal. Everything was delicious, and the service was very friendly. Note that it is a pretty small space, though, so the max group size that I would come here with is probably 6 people.

I could eat here every day. The breakfast/brunch menu is large (but not too large to where they lack a focus) and every item is fantastic (I just ate here an hour ago and three of us split four items).
First of all, I love that the chai and latte come in a huge bowl instead of a coffee cup. And then there are the 'Miracle Pancakes,' cornmeal pancakes with homemade lemon curd (you can buy jars for $9) and strawberries. And the egg dishes! Try one of their takes on eggs benedict with crab, bacon, tomatoes or avocados.
On a warm day, the back patio feels like a secret garden. It's almost worth the wait (and the pain parking; Cole Valley is tough).

You may from time to time find yourself in need of a well poached egg. Zazie has you covered.
And they have a dining patio, completing the must haves for a top quality brunch destination.
This is a crowded neighborhood spot, but seating for small groups is still not too hard to come by.
