Don't act like you're too old. Sure it's fun for the kids but at three dollars per adult it's a great way for kids at heart to see the park alone or with a friend. Get an ice cream at the snack booth while you're waiting.

Awesome children's activity. Tickets are $2.00 for a "little" and $3.00 for a "big." Under age 1 are free. Ride lasts for about 25 minutes. It goes under a bridge, alongside some water where turtles frequent, around Zilker Park and through a tunnel at the end. People generally wave as you pass by and the kids love it. Cash only. ATM available on site. It is located by the Zilker Park playground and by the entrance to Barton Springs Pool. There is a food vendor and snow cones available too.
