the same time, filled with a delightful paradox of traditional and unconventional style. Spiky-mohawked teenagers walk around just behind stern businessmen in suits, ladies sit gossiping over tea at a street cafe, and rowdy "blokes" roar their appreciation in smoke-filled pubs. Ride the enormous London Eye, then tour the centuries-old Tower of London. Zip around the metropolis in the famous double-decker busses, surrounded by old buildings, prominent banks, and the huge waving Union Jack on every corner. Then cruise the Thames on a river boat tour, marking down a never-ending list of places you want to see. Then grab a pint and mingle with the locals at night, or catch your choice of a theater performance, punk rave, or old-fashioned cinema. London is alive, teeming with culture, and ready to keep you busy for weeks.

It doesn’t get dreamier than Paris. The word “romance” is laced around the fountains and flower shops, through the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. Gogobot users love the ambiance of Paris as well as its amazing art scene. Whether you come to see Paris in the rain or to smile back at the Mona Lisa, the beauty of the city will more than meet your expectations.

parallel-streets include a cheese store, a chocolate store, a wine store and, maybe, some oysters. Don't miss the Marais. Don't miss walking around for hours-the Sainte Chapelle, the Louvre, and the Musee d'Orsay are all worth a trip, but for my money, wandering the city and having macarons for lunch captures the spirit of bohemien paris.

part is telling me to finish making my coffee because I'm delusional in the morning. What can be said about Rome that hasn't already been said or known? The center of one of the greatest empires in all of human history, remnants of the glorious ancients still remain. The new live with the old in this ever-changing landscape of culture—che figata questa cultura! The grandeur of the city's buildings impressed me right away. Something about the way they're spaced together seemed to tower over a person. People drive with an aggressiveness that would put Californians to shame, where crossing the street at a "yield" crosswalk even made me a bit nervous. Running over someone is still a crime here right? Yes, I think it is.

sprawling over an area of more than 600 square kilometers, an urban jungle spawned from the ashes of the city's near-total destruction during the Korean War. The city plan may be relentlessly utilitarian, and hopelessly low on green space (with the exception of the rounded mountains sprouting from its midst), but the more time you spend in Seoul the more likely it is that this rough, vivacious city will win you over. The Korean capital is the true 24-hour city that other places bill themselves as, a place where you can go shopping for luxury fashions at 3am, or chow down streetside on rice liquor and blood-sausage at 7am right after the clubs let out. Indeed, many of the best experiences here involve food and drink, and tableside is one of the finest places to appreciate true Korean culture -- garrulous, warm, and typically involving a prodigious quantity of alcohol. You won't find the soul of, well, Seoul in a guidebook, so make a local friend or two and dive in! You'll be surprised where you might end up.
