My coworkers and I had a lot of fun hanging out in SF for the day, and our last stop was here.
We took over the entire bar and a table, but there was still other seating available for other patrons, so it's not like we took over the whole place, but it's not exactly a full blow restaurant size. It's a shop within the Ferry Building.
There is a good selection of wines (or so I'm told since I don't drink - I had a great Pelligrino blood orange soda in a wine glass thank you very much) and their little menu of food items - remember this is a WINE BAR - was great to go with the wine and do a little snacking. Most of the items on the menu are locally sourced, and I really mean locally - cheese is from Cowgirl Creamery and the bread is from Acme Bread, both of which is in the Ferry Building as well (which by the way whatever we order was beyond fabulous....I wish I lived closer....next time with a cooler and i'm not flying I'll have to buy some fabulous cheese and bread)
Unfortunately even though we are in the Ferry Building, most of the stores do not have windows, so it can be rather dark on the inside, but if you are closer to the main walkway in building - basically the store front, it is quite bright since there is the huge skylight all the way up and down the building.
Prices weren't too bad, but I can see how if they are filled with patrons, you wont have a place to sit. You might need to hover.
