The best quick burger I've had in awhile. It's a sexual experience, really, but I won't go into detail as I don't think Gogobot an appropriate venue for lubricious talk.
Instead, here are some key adjectives:
And something about meat between two steamy buns but you can figure that part out for yourself. Friendly service. Good place for beer.Recommended for:Foodies

Delicious crispy ahi tuna tacos and garlic fries. That's all :) It's in the Ferry Building, so definitely take the time to walk around the building to shop and along the water outside too!

Came here with a large group of my coworkers, I think we had about 15. The line to order was quite long, since it was lunch time on a Thursday, but it consistently moved along, which made the line not seem that long. We were a little concerned that we weren't going to be able to sit together, but as luck would have it there was a large table that was completely free, so we took the whole thing over and squeezed all of us in. We still all sat relatively comfortably.
There was a mix of orders, overall it seemed that everyone liked their order. No real complaints. Me and a couple of my coworkers shared the special zucchini fries and garlic fries to go with our burger orders. I ended up with the bbq chicken sandwich which was quite yummy. Very smoky. The zucchini fries were awesome, garlic fries, not so much. I've definitely have had better and they weren't really garlicy. My coworkers I was sharing the fries with got a Wisconsin sourdough burger and a Western Bacon Blue Ring burger and cut it in half and swapped. They loved both their burgers and were patting themselves on the back for thinking of doing that.
Most of the seating is outside, this is Embarcadero in SF afterall, but there is seating inside as well. This is one of those places where you order at the counter, get your own seat and wait for the buzzer to ring to pick up your order.
Parking isn't cheap, this is SF, but the Ferry Building does offer Valet which isn't completely outrageous if you are only going to be around for a few hours. Otherwise, it's about a few blocks from the nearest Bart station, so it's not too bad to get there. The Ferry Building also has a lot of other shops - including a cheese shop and Chris Costintino's meat shop. We ended up at a wine bar, but that's a whole other story.

Legit burgers for those who are seeking something other than seafood near the Embarcadero. Most are served on TOASTED EGG BUNS!
Men seem to love the Western Bacon Blue Ring Burger (onion rings + blue cheese with bbq sauce). It's exactly what I would expect a mouthful of American to taste like. Still looking for seafood? Try the Ahi Burger, whose thick chunk of lightly-seared tuna blends perfectly with the ginger wasabi mayo sauce. My favorite.
Quite possibly the only place in the world where I'd skip on the chili cheese fries. Luckily they have delicious garlic* fries and sweet potato fries for fry-addicts.
Thumbs up for using compostable packaging, but why not reusable materials? Still, A for effort.

Everyone talks about getting the regular burgers or fries here, but if you follow 7x7 eats, you know the Ahi Tuna burger is the thing to order. Although its $16, its light yet filling and the large piece of fish you get with it is just plain mouthwatering.

I love this place. The chocolate Oreo milk shake, the sweet potato fries, the burgers, the chicken sandwiches, the fish tacos, the fries, everything.
This place is great. You can even request that they split your chocolate Oreo milk shake in two and you can share it with a friend.
My biggest problem with going here, especially during lunch, is that I want the burger the fries and the milk shake... and I can finish it all... talk about calorie overdose and food coma!

The ahi tuna burger is amazing!! The fat piece of tuna is cooked perfectly between delicious egg bun. I came here twice and got the ahi tuna twice! Yes, its that good. Especially if you get the parmesan fries on the side. They add so much garlic on it, it should be a illegal. Must come back and make an effort to try their other burgers and not get the ahi tuna again.

If you have a burger craving while walking along ferry building, then hit this joint. When it's a sunny day it's nice to sit outside and people watch. The burgers were ok, and the fish tacos were messy to eat. A must get is the sweet potato fries!

Now it's Istanbul, not Constantinople
Now it's Gotts Roadside, not Taylor's Refresher
Actually, this place is pretty much the same as it ever was. However, I never have quite figured out why the lines are long, but there's always enough outdoor seating. I have also probably been here more than I've eaten here, because if I see that the line isn't moving well, I'm moving on. And during the times that I've been, I never leave feeling that I've received good value for my food dollar.
However, once I have sat down with those tasty sweet potato fries, burger, and drink, I'm a happy camper on a sunny and sometimes warm San Francisco Ferry Building Day. The people watching from this vantage point is also a big plus.
