Great location, and attentive service. The rooms are beautifully arranged and the price is well worth it, with breakfast included. There's a multitude of places nearby to get a delicious lunch or dinner, and experience the nightlife.Recommended for:

The feel of this place is oddly less “art deco” than a couple other modern hotels I’ve been to in Venice, but it’s a nice, cute spot that’s definitely run with love and attention to detail. My favorite room here is the Economic option on the top floor, which has a sloped attic-style roof and a sweet little bathroom with a triangle-shaped mirror. Every room has a computer as well as free wi-fi, which is not easy to find in Italy. There’s also a little market just a few doors down that specializes in organic and specialty foods (too bad my vegan and gluten-free friends weren’t with me). And one awesome detail is that you can book a boat tour from the hotel with the city’s first female gondelier. (Apparently she works exclusively for the Art Deco.) A totally comfortable, sweet option all around.Recommended for:

I can’t say that my first impression of this place lived up to the name, but I didn’t mind: I really dig this spot. There’s something about it that just feels so cozy. The woman who seemed to run the place really took a lot of pride in it, and that made an indescribable difference. It’s a tiny but beautiful little hotel; not much to speak of, but so much fun to be there. Though the art deco style wasn’t omnipresent, there was an interesting design element that was somehow old and modern at the same time. (Of the antique parts, I loved the old radios and Singer sewing machine in the lobby.) Another fun fact is that this hotel has exclusive service with Alex, Venice’s first female gondolier who will also teach you the trade. This is a hotel with great atmosphere and even better personality.
