    Travaasa Hana

    Travaasa Hana

    Hotel Class:
    5
    16 reviews

The Travaasa is my favorite hotel of all time. This place is what people think of when they visualize Maui. There is bright blue ocean, a steady breeze, a palpable health in the land, butterflies and coconut palms. Villas have vaulted ceilings, kitchenettes and huge bathrooms. Indoor and outdoor spaces transition seamlessly. The grand dining area caught my eye and ...

What a wonderful little boutique hotel in one of my favorite towns in Maui! There are 15 units and all of them have their own different characteristics. You'll feel like you're staying in a vacation home rather than a hotel. Guests have access to a private beach. Customer service is fantastic - the staff is gracious and super accommodating.

    Makena Beach & Golf Resort

    Hotel Class:

With world class golfing, a huge beach, great body surfing, close proximity to the best snorkeling on the island, a private location, whale watching and mostly perfect weather – there is something for the whole gang to experience here! Lackluster architecture is compensated for by one of the most appealing garden courtyards I’ve ever seen. Beautiful trees, waterfalls and lotus ...

Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa

    Hotel Class:

I could feel the trade winds blowing every unimportant thought away as I watched the sun set at the Wailea Beach Marriott. This is a place where elegant is not overdone and the architecture meets the vastness of the ocean – it blends effortlessly. The infinity pool and individual cabanas were incredible! You can watch everyone stop fast in their ...

We purchased this condominium home on the ground floor because it is in the most luxurious and best resort in West Maui. The acquatic playground is amazing, with 3 themed pools, 120 foot waterside, and several hot tubs. The resort offers a full service spa, gorgeous beach, poolside cocktail and food service, Duke's Restaurant and Barefoot Bar, Aina gourmet market, ...

Living the life of luxury up on the hill is what this place is all about. It’s a ritzy, out of the way condominium resort. Bright green grass and trees flow away far down a hillside into the clear blue ocean. The Villas could be anyone’s dream home. Our driver gave us the grand tour of the house and property ...

    Maui Coast Hotel

I was so excited about the Maui Coast Hotel that I didn’t want to leave. Rates are great for a place that doesn’t have it’s own beach access - starting from $195. A wildly entertaining beach scene is just a short walk away. Rooms were sleek and immaculate with great ocean views. The entire premises felt well thought out. The ...

This resort is a bit dated, but is the best of the bunch surrounding this location. Whaler's Village is practically next door, and the beaches are fantastic just steps from the property. I have stayed here a few times, and enjoy the full kitchens. It does not have quite as many amenities as a newer resort hotel, but that isn't ...

This is the lowest priced hotel on the world famous Kaanapali Beach. The staff are wonderful the vibe is freindly and family oriented. The rooms are decent and clean but they are basic compared to nearby options. If you're on a budget and looking to stay on one of Maui's best beaches, then this is your best bet.

If you're looking for a spot on the beach, this is not for you. However, the rooms here are quite large and very comfortable. Its an alternative to the $600 per night room common in Wailea. The rooms are spread out on the property, which looks more like a condo complex than a hotel. If you stay there, you must ...
