Princes Street Garden is has Waverly Station and the National Gallery of Scotland on either side of it and the Scott Monument in one corner. It's a nice little park with several monuments to see.

The Princes Street Gardens are a lovely bit of green in the center of Edinburgh sitting between Old Town and New Town. At one end is the Waverley train station, at the other, is the National Gallery of Scotland. You can't help but see the Gardens while in Edinburgh but take a few moments to enjoy them.

You will either find quiet beauty or be surrounded by the arts. It seems that something is always happening in Edinburgh and the Princes Street Gardens has its share of what is going on. Stop, relax and enjoy a beautiful place in one of the best locations in the world.

There are two sides to the gardens, on the east side the gardens are dominated by the Scot Monument and on the west side Edinburgh Castle. Separated by the mound, a road leading from Princes Street to the Royal Mile (or Edinburgh's High Street) and sporting the two main art galaries in Edinburgh. Once in the gardens you can be forgiven for forgetting you are in the heart of a city.
