Home sweet home, what else can I say? :) Of all the place I've traveled in the world (so far), this golden bay city is my favorite. The weather is gorgeous 95% of the year, and there is no shortage of things to do - from the nightlife bars and clubs to Seaport Village, Balboa Park, Old Town, Sea World, or the Zoo. There's literally something for everyone - and everything for someone. For specific reviews, check out my San Diego guide. There's too much to put into one broad review! My favorite thing about San Diego though (aside from the sunshine): the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere and the friendliest locals I've ever met. You will feel just as at home as I do, even if you're from the other side of the world.

It's for you to choose whether I'm biased or in the know, but after living in San Diego for almost 20 years of my life I really think it's one of American's best cities.
I love the fact that within two hours of surfing, you can be in the mountains picking apples. The weather is fantastic and with such great attractions you tend to get spoiled.
Beautiful city with intriguing history, vast cultural diversity and yummy food--that's my hometown!

San Diego, sunny and oh so pretty. Forget about all the haters and focus on what this city does best: beaches, fish tacos and laid-back easy living. What really appeals, after you've spent time in SF and LA, is how unpretentious most places are, and how much there is to explore in a low-key kind of way. Edge neighborhoods like North Park / South Park / East Village are full of surprised, from street food to secondhand shops to microbrew bars. So. Much. Fun.

There is nothing like San Diego. Lived here all my life and I still love every part of it. Only downside is the expensive aspect of it. Other than that, the beauty is breath taking; you have to see it to believe it.

San Diego has something for every type of traveler. The is Sea World, The Zoo, Lego Land and more beaches than I can count. Nightlife enthusiasts can troll the Gas Lamp District and the is always Petco Park for a football game or concert.
