White's Road, Dublin 15, Co. Dublin, Ireland
The Farmleigh house offer free tours to the public and has a incredible history. The Irish state owned the house. The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable too. Although the house is the main attraction, the gardens are just as spectacular, and incredibly well kept. You could explore the gardens for hours by itself, there is a lot to see. There is also a cafe beside the lake which serves very reasonably priced food, drink and ice cream. Well worth a visit for anyone. Very conveniently, the reception has lockers where visitors can store their belongings.
